First come the gays...
then come the beards, then come the single chicks, and finally the straight guys looking for the single chicks. As a previous reviewer has noted, this is largely a straight venue for much of the time. It's a real shame, since it's a fairly nice bar in an excellent location.
straight ish
its getting better but mostly its filled wit straight guys and lots of women. not the best for a gay night out however when Maxi Shields has an event on usually it rocks and involves some gay sport team getting naughty
Had a fun night
I think your bouncers need a pay rise after what I seen them go through on Mardi Gra! So many line cutters. Staff were friendly and the patrons just wanted to dance the night away. Would go back for sure.
Stay Away
Went to Colombia on Friday night during Mardis Gras, one would think it would be packed and well full of gays how mistaken we were. Got to the bar downstairs about half empty and a line to get upstairs. When we finally did it was also half empty with the majority of patrons being straight couples. It appeared the line was manufactured to make one believe it was busy. As for the drinks, over priced and watered down. We spent $150 and left more sober than when we came in. We would have left except we waited too long hoping it would get better and got locked in. I would suggest you avoid this place at all costs. It's a shitty straight bar that hangs a gay flag.
Very Sad About This Club In Sydney
Sorry to read this about this Club, I wouldn't return back to this Club. Gays can find other Clubs that are treated well & respected.
