it is NOT a block from Oxford street
Great hotel for sightseeing and shopping. And very nice staff.. But NOT in the gay area at all. I'm not really sure why it's particularly listed here. But very happy with it all the same. Moving closer to Oxford street for a change of neighborhood in a few days .

Steps to Oxford Street & Gay Friendly
This is not the nicest Marriott I've ever stayed, but it is probably the best location if plan on going out. Less than a block to Oxford Street its an easy walk to all the bars and clubs. The staff is very gay friendly (many are gay themselves) and there is a large gay clientele.
