About our guests:
Ozi Batla (aka Shannon Kennedy) is one of Australia’s leading hip-hop MCs, best known as the frontman of The Herd and Astronomy Class. As a star of the Elefant Traks record label, Ozi Batla has sold out national tours, performed at every major music festival, been an ARIA nominee and ranked in the top ten charts.
Paul Capsis is one of Australia’s most versatile performers. His extensive career has included theatre, film, television, live concerts and cabaret. Paul has performed with Australia’s leading theatre companies (STC, MTC, Malthouse Theatre and Company B Belvoir) and internationally. Paul’s work has been acknowledged by many awards including the Sidney Myer Individual Performing Arts Award, and Helpmann awards for Best Actor in a Play and Best New Work.
Dr Michael Salter is a criminologist from Western Sydney University specialising in male violence, its impacts on victims and motivations of offenders. He researches primary preventions for domestic and sexual violence and public health responses to intersections of gendered violence and culture.
