Obelisk Beach

(25 Ratings)
More than just sand and sun
Many a lad has been known to show up at Obelisk beach with nothing but a bottle of water and suntan lotion. Nude sunbathing is allowed on the beach, but ONLY on the beach. Other activities that do not require clothing take place in the secluded paths leading to and fro this gorgeous beach, where the ocean water is a shade of green-blue that dazzles long after departure.

great naked beach

Mostly gay men. With a few women. Lovely beach, surf is gentle. Easy access by stairs. Ice. Cream boat stopped at the beach twice the day we were there.

Gay beach. Then nude!

Went to obelisk after going to lady jane and have to say that this is your traditional gay beach with the added bonus of clothing optional. Meaning, we saw more guys in hot speedos then we saw nude and the ones we saw nude are not the ones you want to see anyways (couple exceptions). Having that said, if you are looking for your first nude experience id say go to lady jane, its expected and you wont get the weird feeling someone is lookig at you because they are looking at everyone. At obelisk you can count on everyone having a look, so be proud when you do it and just do it! Transportation is harder for this beach. Have fun boys!

Hot beach

Beautiful views to rival some of the best in Sydney. A place thats not too busy where you can lose your keys! Lots of fine looking guys to take your breath away! many sun bathe in the nude but you dont have too but you might as well cos its fun. You may even have a bit of fun with a guy or two if thats what you want to do ; ) x or just relax unwind and take it easy.

Sun, Sea and Se........

Obelisk is an official nude beach but nudity is permitted on the beach only (there is a plan of the designated area next to the start of the access path from the road above). Nudity is not permitted in the notoriously cruisy bushland surrounding the beach so best wear something around your waist if you decide to go for a "wander" as the area is regulalry patrolled by Rangers.
