Just like the infamous ‘celebrity roast’ this night is an outrageously unpredictable musical experience, as an unlikely cast of performers do some musical injustice to the chosen pop star.
Just in time for Mardi Gras we’re breaking the rules with our very first male Covergirl to celebrate the memory and the music of the one and only GEORGE MICHAEL.
Expect to hear amazing live versions of hit songs like the Careless Whisper, Faith, Praying For Time, Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go and many more!
In the spirit of George’s generosity to charitable causes this event will also raise money for Twenty10 incorporating GLCS NSW – a community-based, non-profit, state-wide organisation, working with and supporting people of diverse genders, sexes and sexualities, their families and communities. More info at http://www.twenty10.org.au/
The Covergirl series is as famous for it’s irreverence as it is the diversity of performance styles, with every guest artist bringing a unique flavour or angle to their chosen song.
