THE SYDNEY TEA FESTIVAL IS A CELEBRATION OF SPECIALTY LOOSE LEAF TEA - ON 21 AUGUST 2016
Australian's drank about 7.7 billion cups of tea last year! That’s clearly cause for celebration. And everyone has a favourite type of tea, whether it’s chai, green, oolong, black, white or a healthy herbal tisane. This August you’ll get to sip and sample them all at the Sydney Tea Festival.
Spend the day wandering around a tea market that features dozens of specialty and artisan tea stalls; buy a hand-made teapot and indulge in some tasty sweet and savoury treats. There's also a program of workshops where you can immerse yourself the world of tea.
This year, we're still at Carriageworks but we've moved inside into an area that's more than double the space of previous festivals, so there will be plently of room.
