Enjoy a delicious dinner, pay, then leave

The restaurant on the ground floor is an excellent place to start your night. The menu ranges from standard pub fare to steaks to Asian and a range of specials, and the food is top notch. As for upstairs, it all depends how trashy you want your night to be. If John Waters opened a leagues club, it would probably feel a lot like the Taxi (even the restaurant is called 'D'vine'). Those with a fear of the outer suburbs are advised to stay clear - the Taxi can often feel like a slice of gay Penrith in the middle of the city. It's also more or less the only option for karaoke, if that's your thing (showtune karaoke, no less!), but you're better off heading to Palms for your retro fix.

Trannies and Trash

The Taxi CLub has always been a place for trannies from the 'burbs who are not as glamarous as those you see in Oxford Street bars. It also attracts some hard drinking trashy types who could do with a makeover. That said, the ground level dining room produces some very good and very cheap meals and there's a wide range of entertainment (from Poker Clubs to Live Performances) which brings in the punters of all ages.
